Our worship service is fairly traditional, using a hymnal and a clavinova/piano. If you were raised in church, you will hear some familiar Easter hymns. If not, no problem, feel free to listen and enjoy the music, though we typically stand for our singing time.
Pastor Brian will bring you a biblical message of the Good News of Jesus' Resurrection! He will do it with joy, passion and personal application. The Scriptures and main points will be on the screen to help you, so you will not need to try to figure out where something is in the Bible.
We will have a children's story near the beginning.
One of the best elements of a smaller church, like ours, is getting to know the people. Therefore, I would recommend saying hi and returning the following week so you can get to know the people here.
Whatever is comfortable for you. Since Easter Sunday is considered a "special" Sunday, you will see people dressed up a little more than usual, some ladies with dresses and some guys with ties. Some, however, will be dressed a little more casually like a decent button shirt.
Whatever you choose to wear, you will be welcomed to join us!
No! This is a gift from our church to you!
Just bring an appetite and be ready to enjoy the breakfast put on by our church leaders.
Again, if you let us know ahead of time of any dietary needs or restrictions, we would be happy to accomodate you.
We love having children as part of our worship services. We will have a children's story near the beginning of the service and then the children can sit with you and your family during worship.
If needed, one of you can take the child(ren) upstairs to one of our children's rooms and you can stay with the child(ren).
We expect children to make some noise and to move around during worship and welcome having them.
You are welcome to use either the main door at the top of the ramp, coming from the parking lot, or the downstairs door directly off of Brick Church Road. However, that area sometimes can get a little crowded with the people preparing the food.
Either way, you will want to go downstairs for the breakfast at 8am and upstairs in our sanctuary for worship at 9am.
